Factorylux steampunk industrial pendant lights were recently chosen for the new Revolution Bar in the Electric Press building at the heart of Leeds' Civic Quarter.
The Electric Press building was built in 1894 and is grade two listed. Its unmistakable square brick chimney will be familiar to anyone who has spent any time in Leeds. The building was originally used by Chorley and Pickersgill as a printing works. Revolution is on the ground and first floors of the building and the dining area opens onto Millennium Square.
The design team at Revolution chose the Factorylux Maria Steampunk Lights with rusted light bulb cages to light the tables in the restaurant area.
The pendant lights have a firmly industrial aesthetic which echoes the history of the building. The cages are fitted with decorative light bulbs - the classic Factorylux squirrel cage pear.
The groundbreaking Factorylux Made For You bespoke lighting service makes designing industrial pendant lights easy. Use the pendant light configurator to design a pendant light from the huge collection of Factorylux light fixtures and fittings, including the industrial lamp shades and light bulb cages.
When you are happy with your design, it's hand built, tested and certified to BS EN 60598 at our UK production HQ in West Yorkshire. All the pendant lights are dispatched for next working day delivery, readied for safe and simple installation with instructions and all necessary fixings and fittings. Steampunk lights identical to those at the Electric Press can be configured here
