Bristol independent cafe Spicer + Cole aims to provide consistently good coffee and the best possible everyday food in a comfortable and relaxing environment. Factorylux enamel lampshades were chosen to achieve a traditional and classy 'look' to both the food display and eating areas of the cafe.
The interior for Spicer and Cole, including the lighting, was designed by Simple Simon Design. They are based a mile or so away from Spicer and Cole across the River Avon in Bristol. Simple Simon designed a stripped back interior which puts the emphasis on the food. They specified components from the modular range, including a range of Factorylux enamel lampshades.
A row of white Coolicon enamel lampshades are used to light the main counter and gloss black Coolicon enamel lampshades in the seating and dining areas. All the Factorylux enamel shades are made entirely in the UK - spinning, enamelling and finishing - for exceptional quality and durability.
The Factorylux range included all the components needed to complete the project, including vintage brass lamp holders, coloured lighting flex and traditional filament light bulbs.
