An elegant alternative to the galvanised lantern, the white finish fits perfectly where a lighter colour scheme is required while maintaining the beauty of the industrial style. Cast from aluminium and finished by hand the lantern can be used for bathroom and outdoor use.
The fixing/wiring entry in the top is M20 female threaded to a depth of 18mm. The clear glass bell is clamped to the upper by the aluminium ring and secured by three screws where the glass is protected and sealed by a rubber gasket.
The lamp holder takes a standard screw (ES/E27) bulb. The lantern can be fitted with low energy light bulbs (compact fluorescent or LED) up to a maximum of 13W; and traditional filament light bulbs up to 60W. The internal diameter of the glass bell is approx 85mm.
There are several installation options including:
- direct fixing to male threaded conduit tube or other male threaded conduit fittings
- IP-rated installation as a pendant light with: a 20mm cable gland - not included; and IP rated lighting pattress and round cable
Outdoor and bathroom lighting should be installed by a qualified contractor.
