Factorylux bare bulb kitchen pendants have been chosen for the stylish kitchen of an east Dulwich extension by London design consultancy Design Squared.
The project is a side and rear extension of a home on Crystal Palace Road in south London. The extension creates a large open plan kitchen, dining and entertainment space. The expansive glazing in the extension - doors which open onto the garden and roof lights - flood the space with light.
The internal materials and surface finishes chosen by Design Squared have a clean-cut industrial/functional aesthetic. There are brick tiles above the marble worksurface, lots of crisp angled plaster corners and a London stock brick wall to add visual interest.
The three kitchen pendants which hang above the island worksurface are made from the Factorylux antique bronze E27 lamp holders with matching antique bronze ceiling pattresses. The bright neon yellow fabric cable works well and the kitchen pendants are equipped with the strikingly attractive pear squirrel cage filament light bulbs.
Kitchen pendants like the ones installed in the Design Squared project are available as components or as assembled ready-to-install pendant lights - with or without lamp shades - designed using the Factorylux bespoke pendant light service.
Choose from hundreds of components - lamp holders, lighting cable and ceiling roses. When you're happy with the design, it's built at out production HQ in west Yorkshire, and tested/certified to BS EN 60598. All the lights ship for next day delivery, ready for safe an simple installation with instructions, wiring diagrams and all necessary fixing and fittings.
