Successful hotels offer an experience in and of themselves. Far from being simply a place to get your head down, the best hotels now offer patrons a destination worthy of postcard mention. Design plays a huge role in developing a sense of theatre and building this idea of experience. From foyer centerpieces to intimate suite bedsides, lighting can be critical for accentuating this sense of spectacle. We’ve worked with chains, independents and up–and-comers on projects of all scales, delivering versatile lighting to fit the client’s vision.
Designed to push the boundaries of prefab living, Berts Boxes captured the imagination when displayed at Decorex in 2015. The rustic open-plan designs raised the bar for prefab living. Self-contained and with no shortage of creature comforts, the Boxes struck a balance between luxury mod cons and eco-friendly design. Snapped up by the Pig Hotel, one of the Boxes remains available for year-round retreats. From exterior to interior, we supplied a diverse range of lighting for each Box. From dining table pendants to cosy bedside wall lights, Berts Boxes illustrate the diversity of our range.
Seated in the centre of Southwold along England's east coast, The Swan hotel offers an elegant base for sun, sea and exploration. The Swan’s rooms boast big beds, great views and goose-down by the duvet-load. The Swan is located walking distance from the historic Adnams brewery and offers tours of the site. After a long day gin-making/tasting, guests can retreat back to their cosy Swan suite. Bedside lighting was given the bespoke treatment with fixtures from Urban Cottage Industries. Custom Maria wall lights were coupled with our amber cylinder shade and long tube lamps to create distinctive wall lights.
