Kate’s approach to the bedroom makeover was to use Pinterest to collect ideas and to see what design elements would work together. The walls are a pale grey – Inox by Little Greene with the wardrobes a complementary dark grey in eggshell.

Shelves were added either said of the chimney breast to visually widen the area. There is a plug in pendant light hung from each shelf either side of the chimney breast. The soft furnishings and ornaments are used to give the room a botanical look.

The plug in pendant light configurator lets you pick from a range of lighting components to create the perfect plug in pendant light for your room or space. Kate chose the dark antique bronze standard screw lamp holders and the organic dark linen lighting cable.

Start your plug in pendant light design here by choosing a plug, then lighting cable and a lamp holder. When you’re happy with the design, the plug in pendant light is hand built at our production HQ in Yorkshire and dispatched for next working day delivery.

Kate’s lights are fitted with pear shape LED filament light bulbs. The LED filament bulbs are both attractive and extremely economical. They cost around 0.1 pence per hour to run, based on purchase price and average UK domestic electricity prices.

A key advantage of plug in wall lights over conventional wall lights is that they do not require the services of an electrician and there is no drilling, chasing, or re-wiring work. All the Factorylux Made For You range of pendant and wall lights are hand built in the UK. Each one is individually tested and certified to BS EN 60598 and dispatched for next day delivery.
