Factorylux galvanised lights featured in Country Living Magazine in a piece on taking decorating inspiration from plants and animals. The feature used flora and fauna paired with colours derived from nature and metallic accents.
The feature used the Factorylux Industrial Galvanised Light Shade configured as a complete pendant light using the groundbreaking Made For You bespoke lighting service. All the Factorylux light shades are available in galvanised finishes - from the simplest 150mm diameter galvanised disc shade to the imposing 500mm galvanised reflector shade. The shades are spin galvanised - dipped in a bath of molten zinc and then centrifuged. Unlike electroplating, spin galvanisation gives each item a beautiful and unique matt textured finish. The galvanised light shades are made - machined, galvanised and finished - entirely in the UK for exceptional quality and durability. The galvanised shades are available 'shade only' or as complete pendant lights created using the metallic pendant light Made For You configurator. Start your design by choosing a style of shade and then the other components. When you're happy with the design, the pendant lights are hand built at production HQ in West Yorkshire and tested and certified to BS EN 60598. The galvanised light featured in Country Living was equipped with black and white fabric lighting cable and silver standard screw (E27 or ES) lamp holder. In addition to the galvanised lamp shades, the Factorylux range includes galvanised wall switches and sockets, galvanised light bulb cages and an extensive range of galvanised metal conduit products.
