Factorylux enamel light shades were chosen to light Levi's Made-to-Order jeans service at its London flagship store. The enamel shades are made entirely in the UK and flawless recreations of those originally installed in textile mills.

Levi's flagship UK store on Regent Street epitomises the industrial heritage of denim with its polished concrete, exposed brick walls and bare wood flooring. The Levi's design team chose the Industrial 360mm Light Shades in basalt grey enamel to light both the tailoring and display areas.
The shades in the cutting and sewing area at the store are installed as they would have been in mills and factories - close-spaced rows or blocks to provide enough light for the workers to do their job. The interior finish of the shades - white vitreous enamel - and their concave shape are designed to ensure as little light as possible is lost rather than being directed to the shop floor.
The shades are both spun and enamelled in the UK and the grey enamel is authentically industrial - many of the shades installed in mills and factories in the early 20th century were the same colour.
